Brenda Bollard
Is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner after completing an in-depth course of training through Healing Touch International (HTI). HTI's certification is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurse's Association.

During her apprenticeship year she was required to work with a nurse that is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP) through the HTI mentorship program. The mentorship is one of the many requirements in the rigorous training and certification program. It provided her with the opportunity to work beside and learn from an exceptional teacher/mentor.

What is her background?
Oddly enough Brenda's background has not been in conventional medicine or complementary/alternative therapies until the last few years. She came to Healing Touch after selling her cabinet and drafting business that she owned and operated for over twenty years.

Prior to selling her business she began thinking that there must be an easier way to help people, knowing perfectly well that it was time for a change.

She considered going into massage therapy because she came from a family of massage therapists. After realizing she suffered with pain in her hands from the many years of cabinet building she decided that might not be the smartest career change after all.

After hearing about the profound healing results by those who had experienced Healing Touch she decided to research it a little further. She began reading a few books on energy therapy and decided to take her first Healing Touch class in March 2008. That's when she caught the bug and set sail on this incredible journey to help others.

Although she currently helps many people with various diagnoses, her main focus is helping those touched by cancer. She volunteers at a local oncology office in their chemo room providing Healing Touch as patients receive their chemo treatments. Healing Touch helps the patients to relax, let go of stress, and it eases many of the symptoms brought on by their cancer treatments. She also provides full treatments for patients in the oncology’s resource center.

Brenda's thoughts...
Healing Touch has guided me in ways unimaginable and has become my passion. Most importantly it has guided me towards helping you, helping you to heal within. I have the deepest gratitude to everyone who has allowed me to share my touch. Each of you have taught me how to listen with my heart, thank you!

The Joy in Life is Touch
Think about it...

We can touch with our hands to comfort.
We can touch with our words to inspire.
We can touch with our gifts and talents to lend a    helping hand.
We can touch with a sparkle in our eyes and a smile on    our face to add fun and excitement to a dull moment.
And we can touch with kindness each and every day.
The essence of touch comes from our hearts.
May we be grateful for all the touches in our lives.

Colleague Testimonials:

"Brenda worked on me after a trip to Phoenix. I had sprained my pelvis in an exercise class, did not know it, and just felt sore and tired. She moved to that area and worked on me sending healing energy to the area. I also have had a pain in my back for about 10 years and her work started a healing path for me to discover what I needed to move on. I have been pain free now for several months. Her kindness, professional behavior, and her excellence in the work moved me into a new place to discover my own needs for self care. I am very grateful for her work." – LJ

"Since meeting Brenda in April 2008, I have seen her step up to the plate to volunteer her time as she continued her Healing Touch studies. In April of 2009 and 2010 she was the volunteer coordinator for our local Healing Touch group at the Race for the Cure, where we did short chair treatments for participants. This is just one of many ways that Brenda has made her Healing Touch abilities available to others. In December 2009, she became certified in Healing Touch and continues to look for opportunities to help others.

I have been fortunate to have been a recipient of several of her Healing Touch sessions and have observed her working with others. She works both intuitively and professionally. Brenda is one of the most heart centered people that I know. She also has a smile that lights up the room." – JG
